Job summary

Wonder® Engineering Technologies in Singapore seeks a senior on-site installation engineer to lead the installation, assembly, and commissioning of MOV actuators and industrial control equipment. You will coordinate with clients, main contractors, and internal teams to ensure project progress, safety, and quality.

The role requires a Diploma or higher in engineering disciplines and a minimum of 5 years’ hands-on site experience with actuator installation and commissioning.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Instrumentation, or related engineering disciplines.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on industrial site experience with actuator installation and field commissioning.
• Solid background in MOV actuators and on-site project management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise full on-site installation, assembly, fitting, and commissioning of MOV actuators and industrial control equipment.
• Manage daily site execution progress to ensure compliance with schedules, safety standards, and quality requirements.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, subcontractors, and internal teams to resolve technical issues and adjust schedules as needed.
• Supervise on-site manpower, monitor performance, and guide field technicians and engineers.
• Perform site inspections, functional tests, system verifications, and troubleshooting for installations.
• Record site data and prepare progress reports, logs, and completion records.
• Support project handover, customer training, and after-sales validation to ensure stable operation.
• Strictly enforce workplace safety regulations to minimize site risks.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise full on-site installation, assembly, fitting, and commissioning of MOV actuators and industrial control equipment to meet project requirements.
• Manage daily site execution progress to ensure compliance with project schedules, technical specifications, safety standards, and company quality requirements.
• Coordinate effectively with clients, main contractors, subcontractors, and internal teams to resolve technical issues, work conflicts, and schedule adjustments promptly.
• Arrange, allocate, and supervise on-site manpower resources, monitor work performance, and guide field technicians and engineers to ensure efficient daily task completion.
• Perform site inspections, functional testing, system verification, and troubleshooting for actuator installation and commissioning works.
• Record site working data and prepare progress reports, technical documentation, site logs, and project completion records accurately.
• Support project handover, conduct customer training, and provide after-sales technical validation to ensure stable system operation and customer satisfaction.
• Enforce workplace safety regulations strictly to reduce site risks and maintain a professional, standardized field execution environment.

Required competencies and certifications

• Diploma or higher qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Instrumentation, or related engineering disciplines.
• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on industrial site experience with a solid background in actuator installation, field commissioning, and site supervision.
• Strong practical knowledge of MOV actuator working principles, installation procedures, commissioning workflows, and industrial site project management.
• Ability to lead site teams, manage manpower arrangements, coordinate multi‑party stakeholders, and independently resolve on‑site technical and operational issues.
• Familiarity with industrial site safety standards, project progress control, and site quality inspection requirements.
• Effective communication skills, problem‑solving ability, and capability to handle on‑site emergencies.
• Willingness and ability to travel to various Singapore project sites and work on‑site as required by project demands.

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience in actuator, valve control, or industrial automation projects is highly preferred.
