Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Singapore is seeking a Commissioning Engineer to oversee project delivery and collaborate with the commissioning team. The role involves ensuring successful implementation of projects, conducting testing and commissioning activities, and managing project documentation. Ideal candidates will have a degree in Electrical Engineering and experience in MEP systems. This position offers a competitive remuneration package commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline preferred.
• Experience in MEP systems and building services.
• Proficiency in English and good communication skills.

Job Summary

We are looking for a Commissioning Engineer to be responsible for project delivery and work closely with the commissioning team in site operations. The role supports project progression, ensuring expectations, procedures, and deadlines are met. More senior candidates will be considered as Senior Commissioning Engineer/ Assistant Commissioning Manager.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist Managers in ensuring the successful implementation of projects.
• Undertake all testing and commissioning activities from factory tests to integrated systems tests in the final stage of projects.
• Monitor site progress and coordinate site meetings.
• Attend site meetings and address technical queries from clients.
• Review and track vendor responses and method statements.
• Witness contractor testing and commissioning results and confirm compliance.
• Handle project administration and documentation tasks.
• Support HS&E compliance through PPE use, hazard reporting, documentation assistance, and safe work practices.
• Manage project administration and documentation.

Requirements and Skills

• Degree in Electrical Engineering is preferred but will consider Mechanical and Building Services Engineering or related discipline in engineering.
• Have the right to work in Singapore.
• Relevant working experience in MEP systems, building services coordination and/or testing & commissioning process with multi-national corporate exposure.
• Hands‑on knowledge of PC applications such as MS Office, MS Project, AutoCAD, Revit.
• Good command of written and spoken English and detail oriented.
• Reliable and proactive working attitude not afraid to make decisions.
• Self‑motivated and believe in continuous improvement.
• Can manage their time effectively, drive results, building trust and positive partnerships.
• Good communication / interpersonal and negotiation skills to handle all stakeholders.
