Job summary

MS First Capital Insurance Limited in Singapore invites applications for a Motor Underwriting position. You will assess risks, determine coverage positions, and support daily underwriting operations within a collaborative team.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in a numerical/technical discipline and prior exposure to Commercial Motor Underwriting; SCI certifications are preferred and may be sponsored.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a numerical/technical discipline.
• Prior exposure to Commercial Motor Underwriting is a pre-requisite.
• Experience in non-life re/insurance is a bonus.
• SCI certifications may be sponsored if not already held.

Responsibilities

• Assess risks and determine the coverage position
• Provide preliminary evaluations to the Motor underwriting team on new business opportunities and renewals
• First point of contact for assigned clients and business partners/intermediaries in service delivery
• Support daily operations in the Motor underwriting department
• Coordinate with other underwriting teams and intermediaries to identify potential business opportunities
