Job summary

A leading insurer in Singapore is seeking an Insurance Specialist to join the Motor Insurance Department. You will handle policy servicing, account servicing, and insurer operations, supporting the sales team and policy renewals.

Key duties include proactive telemarketing for new sales and renewals, handling customer enquiries, endorsements, and documentation, plus collaboration with insurers, underwriters, and internal teams to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• Experience in Singapore motor insurance industry or related servicing roles.
• Certificate in General Insurance (CGI) or SCI qualification or equivalent.
• Good knowledge of motor products, policy docs, renewals, endorsements, and servicing workflows.
• Strong written and verbal communication, confident calls and emails.
• Capable of coordinating with insurers, underwriters, and internal stakeholders.
• High attention to detail with documentation and follow-ups.
• Proficient with Excel, Google Workspace, and CRM tools.

Responsibilities

Our client a Leading Insurance Company is seeking an Insurance Specialist to join the Motor Insurance Dept. You’ll be working on policy servicing, account servicing, and insurer operations. Supporting the wider business including the sales team & policy renewals.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct proactive telemarketing calls to drive new sales conversion and policy renewals.
• Handle and resolve customer enquiries and service requests relating to motor insurance, including renewals, endorsements, and other policy servicing matters.
• Conduct customer surveys and gather feedback via calls and emails, delivering clear, accurate, and professional support.
• Support Go-To-Market (GTM) activities, including Driver (Dax) events and related outreach initiatives.
• Refer cases to insurers or underwriters where underwriting review, exception handling, or further assessment is required.
• Coordinate with insurance partners, underwriters, and internal stakeholders to resolve policy, servicing, and operational issues.
• Support documentation, data checks, and administrative processes to ensure records are complete, accurate, and compliant.
• Assist with claims handling, including accident registration, payment requisitions, and recovery tracking.
• Identify recurring operational issues or customer pain points and recommend improvements to processes, templates, and workflows.

Requirement:

• Experience in the Singapore motor insurance industry, preferably in policy servicing, customer service, account servicing, brokerage, insurer operations, or agency support.
• Required Certificate in General Insurance (CGI), Singapore Collage of Insurance (SCI) or equivalent qualifications required for general insurance advisory / servicing work in Singapore.
• Good understanding of motor insurance products, policy documentation, underwriting referral processes, renewals, endorsements, and customer servicing workflows.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence handling customer calls and emails.
• Ability to work with insurers, underwriters, customers, and internal stakeholders to resolve issues effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage documentation, follow-ups, and operational tasks accurately.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Excel, Google Workspace, CRM tools, or insurance servicing systems.
