A leading in-house advertising firm in Singapore is seeking a Motion Graphics Designer to create high-impact motion and video creatives. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 4 years of experience in motion graphics, strong proficiency in Adobe After Effects, and a portfolio demonstrating relevant work. This role focuses on creative ideation, execution, and iteration for digital advertising campaigns. We are looking for a Motion Graphics Designer to join our in-house advertising team, supporting the creation of high-impact motion and video creatives for paid media campaigns. This role operates in a performance-driven environment where motion designers are expected to contribute ideas, not just execute instructions.
You will work closely with senior motion designers, graphic designers, and marketers to translate provided hooks into effective motion concepts, pitch creative ideas, and execute motion assets that are optimised for clarity, attention, and performance on Meta platforms such as Facebook and Instagram.
Participate actively in creative discussions and ideation sessions for advertising campaigns.
Pitch motion-based ideas on how hooks can be visualised, sequenced, or paced for stronger performance.
Contribute suggestions on transitions, timing, emphasis, and storytelling approaches that improve first-second impact.
Collaborate with the team to explore multiple creative directions before execution.
Animate and assemble motion and video creatives for paid advertising campaigns, with a strong focus on Meta placements.
Translate storyboards, static designs, or rough concepts into polished motion assets.
Produce multiple variations efficiently to support creative testing and experimentation.
Adjust pacing, transitions, text timing, and emphasis based on performance feedback and testing results.
Iterate on existing creatives to improve retention, clarity, and engagement.
Optimise motion assets for fast comprehension in feed-based environments.
Work closely with senior motion designers to align on motion direction, quality standards, and execution best practices.
Collaborate with graphic designers to ensure visual consistency between static and motion assets.
Maintain clean, organised project files to support efficient revisions and scaling.
Adapt motion assets across multiple aspect ratios and placements required by Meta and other digital platforms.
Ensure motion creatives meet technical specifications and platform guidelines.
Maintain consistent quality across all deliverables.
2 to 4 years of professional experience in motion graphics, video, or animation within an agency or in-house environment.
Strong proficiency in Adobe After Effects, with working knowledge of Premiere Pro.
Comfortable animating typography, UI-style elements, transitions, and simple graphic effects.
A portfolio demonstrating motion work for digital or advertising use cases.
Ability to explain creative decisions and motion choices clearly.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, iterative advertising environment.
Experience working on performance or digital advertising campaigns.
Familiarity with Meta video formats and feed-based creative considerations.
Basic understanding of performance metrics such as 3-second views and retention.
Experience producing variations from the same creative concept.
