Job summary

Sunman Solution Engineering Pte Ltd seeks an experienced Modular Fitter (ACMV) to fabricate, assemble, install, and fit ACMV modular systems and related mechanical components at workshops and project sites.

The role requires 2–5 years in ACMV or modular installation, ability to read drawings, and hands-on experience with steel structures, ducts, or piping systems. Safety-certified candidates are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–5 years of ACMV, mechanical, piping, or modular installation experience.
• Ability to read construction and fabrication drawings.
• Experience in fitting, fabrication, and installation of steel structures, supports, ducts, or piping systems.
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, cutting, and grinding equipment.
• Welding knowledge is an added advantage.
• Physically fit to work at construction sites.
• Possession of relevant safety certificates is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and install ACMV modular components according to shop drawings and specifications.
• Carry out fitting, alignment, and installation of duct supports, pipe supports, brackets, and mechanical structures.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, fabrication drawings, and installation plans.
• Perform measuring, marking, cutting, drilling, and fitting works.
• Assist welders during fabrication and installation activities.
• Ensure modules are installed accurately and on schedule.
• Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and other trades on-site.

Job Description – Modular ACMV Installer / Modular Fitter

Job Overview

The Modular Fitter is responsible for the fabrication, assembly, installation, and fitting of ACMV (Air-Conditioning and Mechanical Ventilation) modular systems, ducting supports, pipe supports, equipment frames, and related mechanical components at workshops and project sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble and install ACMV modular components according to approved shop drawings and specifications.
• Carry out fitting, alignment, and installation of duct supports, pipe supports, brackets, and mechanical structures.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, fabrication drawings, and installation plans.
• Perform measuring, marking, cutting, drilling, and fitting works.
• Assist welders during fabrication and installation activities.
• Ensure all modules are installed accurately and within project schedule.
• Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and other trades on-site.
• Conduct quality checks on completed work before handover.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Comply with Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) requirements and company safety procedures.
• Attend toolbox meetings and safety briefings as required.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 to 5 years of experience in ACMV, mechanical, piping, or modular installation works.
• Ability to read and understand construction and fabrication drawings.

Salary Range

• Depending on experience and skills. S$4200 to S$4800
• Higher salary may be considered for candidates with ACMV modular fabrication and installation experience.
