Job summary

FUNREALM INTERACTIVE PTE. LTD. is seeking a creative VFX Artist to design high-impact particle effects and visual combat feedback for our project on mobile platforms.

You will craft dynamic elemental magic, attack slashes, shrine energy fields, and boss abilities that enhance combat feel without cluttering the screen during high-density encounters. You will specialize in stylized VFX for action games, with strong emphasis on readability and performance on mobile devices.

Qualifications

• Portfolio showing stylized, action-oriented VFX for games (anime/high-fantasy aesthetic preferred).
• Proficiency with particle systems and Unity VFX Graph or Particle System.
• Ability to author textures, mesh shapes, and flipbooks in Photoshop, Substance, or Houdini.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement stylized visual effects for elemental skill abilities and combat feedback.
• Create custom flipbooks, textures, and shader graphs for dynamic visuals.
• Optimize particle systems, draw calls, and texture atlases for mobile performance.
• Ensure telegraphs, hit areas, and status effects remain clear on small screens.
