Atome in Singapore is seeking a skilled Unity VFX Designer to shape combat visuals, UI motion, and real-time effects for our mobile/loyalty-driven game projects.

You will design and implement effects for abilities, hits, buffs, and environmental cues, while balancing performance costs and aligning with art direction.

Collaborate with designers, artists, and engineers to deliver polished visuals on target devices, using Particle System, Timeline, and shaders.

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years in game VFX or real-time motion design.
• Strong proficiency in Unity and real‑time VFX implementation.
• Solid animation foundations and timing/easing understanding.
• Portfolio with in‑game VFX and UI motion work showing responsibilities.

Aufgaben

• Design and implement combat VFX, environmental effects, system feedback, and UI motion in Unity.
• Create real-time effects for abilities, attacks, hits, status effects, and ambience.
• Design clear visual feedback for warnings, AOE, hits, buffs, debuffs and readability.
• Create UI motion for screen transitions, pop-ups, buttons, numerical changes and rewards.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate interaction into motion that is clear and engaging.
• Use Unity Particle System, Animator, Animation, Timeline, materials, and shaders to build and optimize effects.
• Review effects with designers and engineers, balancing performance on target devices.
• Establish production standards, asset naming conventions, and reusable templates for VFX/UI motion.
