Job summary

The Design Manager leads multidisciplinary teams across Architecture, Civil & Structural, Electrical, Mechanical, ICT, Security and BIM for hyperscale data centre projects from concept through to handover.

You will act as the primary interface between clients, consultants, contractors and project management teams, ensuring integrated, compliant designs aligned with reliability, resilience and sustainability goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture or related discipline.
• Chartered Engineer or equivalent preferred.
• Min. 10 years of multidisciplinary design experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary design teams across all project phases.
• Coordinate delivery of data centre projects from concept to handover.
• Ensure designs meet reliability, resilience, sustainability, programme and cost objectives.
• Lead BIM implementation and digital delivery.
• Manage stakeholder interfaces with clients and consultants.
• Support procurement, construction administration, commissioning and site responses.
