Job summary

jac recruitment pte. ltd. is looking for an experienced Project Manager to oversee data center and ICT infrastructure projects across the region. You will manage the full project lifecycle from planning and design through implementation, commissioning and handover.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in data center/ICT projects, strong expertise in UPS, cooling, BMS/EMS, and a proven track record delivering Tier-certified or hyperscale deployments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline.
• At least 10 years of data center/ ICT project management experience.
• Experience delivering Tier-certified or hyperscale data center projects is advantageous.
• Strong technical knowledge of data center infrastructure and ICT systems.
• PM certifications (PMP/PRINCE2) are a plus.
• Proficient in MS Project or Primavera P6.

Job description

The client is looking for an experienced Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of data center and ICT infrastructure projects across the region. This role is responsible for managing the full project lifecycle, from planning and design through implementation, commissioning, and final handover. The successful candidate will possess strong expertise in data center infrastructure, ICT systems, MEP coordination, and stakeholder management to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and within scope, budget, and schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end delivery of mission-critical data center and ICT infrastructure projects, including greenfield, brownfield, and modular data center environments.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, budgets, resource allocations, and work breakdown structures (WBS).
• Lead and coordinate EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) activities while ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Ensure compliance with industry best practices and standards such as Uptime Institute, TIA-942, ASHRAE, ISO/IEC 27001, and local authority requirements.
• Oversee the integration and deployment of critical infrastructure systems, including UPS, cooling solutions (CRAC/CRAH), HVAC, fire protection systems, BMS/EMS, structured cabling, ICT equipment, and NOC facilities.
• Act as the main liaison between clients, consultants, vendors, contractors, and internal teams including engineering, procurement, quality assurance, and sales.
• Provide regular project updates, progress reports, risk assessments, and mitigation plans to management and customers.
• Monitor project financials, including CAPEX forecasts, cost control, vendor management, and contractual obligations.
• Lead factory acceptance testing (FAT), site acceptance testing (SAT), commissioning activities, and integrated systems validation.
• Facilitate smooth project closure and transition to operations teams through documentation, training, and post-deployment support planning.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, ICT, Systems Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• At least 10 years of experience managing data center, ICT infrastructure, or other mission-critical technology projects.
• Proven track record in delivering Tier-certified and/or hyperscale data center projects is highly advantageous.
• Strong technical understanding of critical data center infrastructure, including power distribution, UPS systems, cooling technologies, fire protection, access control, BMS/EMS, and structured cabling.
• Familiarity with ICT environments, including server infrastructure, networking, virtualization technologies, cloud platforms, and edge computing solutions.
• Demonstrated project management expertise with experience using tools such as MS Project, Primavera P6, or equivalent platforms.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or other recognized project management certifications will be considered an advantage.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, problem-solving, and cross-functional coordination skills.
