Job summary

ABER CARE PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks an experienced Early Intervention Teacher to plan routine-based programmes and deliver child-focused learning within IEPs.

You will mentor assistants, collaborate with a transdisciplinary team, and ensure timely documentation of teaching records. We welcome professionals with a Diploma in Psychology / Special Needs / Early Intervention and a First Aid Certificate, with at least 1 year in Early childhood / Early intervention.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Psychology, Special Needs or Early Intervention.
• Min 1 year experience in Early childhood / Early intervention.
• Holds a valid First Aid Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement routine-based programmes aligned with each child’s Individualised Education Plan.
• Create engaging, age-appropriate learning materials and maintain a positive, respectful classroom using positive discipline approaches.
• Implement recommended therapeutic strategies as part of a transdisciplinary team.
• Supervise and guide Assistant Teachers and Teacher Aides.
• Provide mentoring in classroom management, teaching methods, and behavioural techniques.
• Conduct regular team meetings and performance appraisals.
• Participate in team discussions, event planning, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
• Support onboarding of new teachers.
• Ensure timely submission of teaching records and reports.
• Conduct home visits, school visits, and parent-teacher meetings, including case conferences.
