Job summary

GovTech is seeking a mid-level ContactSG Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable software for government-to-citizen communications. You will own end-to-end quality, contribute to data pipelines, and collaborate across disciplines to deliver reliable citizen-centric products.

You will work with a cross-functional team on initiatives like CrowdTask SG, SGTranslateTogether, and more, ensuring robust performance and quality.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience, preferably in full stack web development.
• Strong understanding of CS fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
• Proficient in full stack development with React, Node.js, and PostgreSQL.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with cloud services, especially AWS; knowledge of data lakes and large-scale processing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain software applications to meet user needs.
• Build scalable contact data pipelines including ingestion, deduplication, and segmentation.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver high-quality citizen-centric products.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure quality and share knowledge.
