Job summary

GovTech in Singapore is hiring engineers to translate requirements into scalable, secure full-stack applications across frontend, backend, and infrastructure. You will collaborate with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to deliver robust solutions using React, Node.js, PostgreSQL, and AWS, while applying best practices in architecture and Agile delivery.

You will own features from conception through deployment and maintenance, with exposure to low-code platforms such as OutSystems

Qualifications

• Strong experience with React (TypeScript), Node.js, PostgreSQL, and AWS cloud services.
• Familiarity with Python for basic data analysis and Terraform for IaC — optional in ad.
• Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI or similar) and modern development workflows.
• Solid understanding of software architecture principles, system design, and resilient distributed systems.
• Experience in Agile environments with iterative delivery cycles.
• Ability to balance performance, maintainability, and business requirements.
• Excellent communication to explain technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
• Self-motivated problem-solver who takes ownership of deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Translate requirements into clear technical designs and development plans.
• Design and develop robust, scalable full-stack applications.
• Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and engineers to implement solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code across frontend, backend, and infrastructure.
• Participate in architecture reviews and engineering best practices.
• Own features from conception through deployment and maintenance.
• Develop and maintain applications on low-code platforms like OutSystems.
