Job summary

TALENTBOLT is seeking an IT professional to support and administer the Microsoft 365 cloud environment and related infrastructure. The role blends hands-on technical work with staff support across office, remote, and vessel environments.

Responsibilities include designing 365 solutions, managing services for security and stability, and planning hardware lifecycles. You will coordinate with internal teams and external vendors, with occasional overseas travel required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on experience managing Microsoft 365 environments.
• 3+ years providing tiered IT support (L1/L2) in a mid-to-large organisation.
• Familiarity with Intune and Defender, strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and roll out Microsoft 365 solutions tailored to organisational needs.
• Manage the Microsoft 365 environment to ensure availability and security.
• Set up and maintain Intune and Defender per policy.
• Handle support requests, including remote troubleshooting.
• Participate in after-hours on-call rotation as needed.
• Track performance and run regular tests to pre-empt issues.
• Plan hardware rollouts, replacements, and lifecycle upgrades.
• Perform updates, backups, and recovery processes.
• Collaborate across teams and with vendors for optimal user experience.
• Maintain IT onboarding/offboarding, records, and SOPs.
