Job summary

Leica Microsystems in Singapore seeks an Application Specialist – Microscopy to translate scientific needs into practical imaging solutions. You will assess customer requirements, design workflows, and deliver demonstrations and workshops across pre- and post-sales stages.

Reporting to the Sales Manager as part of the SEA Commercial Team, you will collaborate with customers, sales, service, and product teams; travel within the region to support events and deployments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor\'s or higher in Life Sciences, Biomedical Science, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in microscopy/imaging support or application specialist roles.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to design and run product demonstrations and workshops.

Responsibilities

• Assess customer scientific, technical, and workflow requirements across pre-sales and post-sales processes and identify microscopy applications.
• Partner with customers, sales teams, channel partners, service, marketing, product management, and technical teams to evaluate requirements and workflows.
• Recommend appropriate microscope products, configurations, and integrated solutions aligned with specifications and objectives.
• Prepare technical specifications translating requirements into practical approaches for adoption and optimization.
• Plan and deliver product demonstrations, proof-of-concept activities, workshops, evaluations, and use cases.
• Provide training, consultation, and support to customers, sales teams, and internal stakeholders.
• Capture feedback and market insights to support continuous improvement and growth.
