Job summary

WOW STAFFING is seeking a Merchandising Manager in Singapore. You will develop and execute merchandising strategies aligned with business and sales objectives, manage product assortment, launches, pricing, promotions, and inventory levels.

You will analyse sales data and market trends, forecast demand, coordinate with suppliers, and lead merchandising staff while collaborating with Marketing and Sales to position products and optimise profitability.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute merchandising strategies aligned with business and sales objectives.
• Analyse sales data, market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activity to identify opportunities.
• Manage product assortment, product launches, pricing, promotions, and inventory levels.
• Plan seasonal and promotional merchandise campaigns.
• Monitor product performance and identify slow-moving or underperforming products.
• Work with suppliers and vendors on product sourcing, pricing, cost negotiations, and delivery schedules.
• Forecast demand and coordinate inventory planning to minimise overstock and stockouts.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Sales teams on promotional campaigns and product positioning.
• Prepare sales forecasts, merchandising reports, budgets, and performance analyses.
• Track KPIs such as sales revenue, gross margin, sell-through rate, inventory turnover, and profitability.
• Lead and mentor merchandising executives or assistants.
• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, distributors, retailers, and internal stakeholders.
