Job summary

AECOM Cost Consulting and Project Management (Singapore) Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Senior MEP Building Services Engineer to lead cost estimation, design review and contract administration for mechanical and electrical services on complex projects.

You will work onsite at SG - The Concourse and collaborate with clients and contractors to prepare cost plans, evaluate proposals and monitor budgets, ensuring compliance with local codes.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering from a recognized University.
• 2+ years postgraduate experience in design, supervision, project management, cost estimate, tendering, pre and post contract administration of MEP disciplines.
• Responsible, self-motivated and enthusiastic.
• Good interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Good communication and written skills in English.
• Applicants with Building or Quantity Surveying degrees may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Providing general support & advice on various aspects of mechanical & electrical services.
• Preparing design brief documents for all mechanical and electrical services.
• Involve and drive performance standards through expert communication and effective use of the performance management process.
• Evaluating Contractor's design proposals and specifications.
• Carrying out cost analyses on mechanical and electrical services.
• Attend onsite and consultants’ meetings and liaise with clients on MEP matters.
• Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to calculate project costs.

Education

Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering
