Job summary

Accountstaff (EA) is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to design and coordinate MEP systems across building services. You will prepare calculations, specs, and shop drawings while coordinating with clients, consultants, and contractors to resolve on-site issues.

You will supervise installation, monitor project progress, and oversee ACMV systems integration, testing, and commissioning to ensure quality and compliance.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of experience in MEP or mechanical engineering in construction or design-build.
• Hands-on ACMV experience and knowledge of mechanical building services.
• Proficient with AutoCAD, Revit/BIM and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Design, review, and coordinate MEP systems across several disciplines.
• Prepare calculations, specs, shop drawings, and method statements.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects, contractors, and authorities.
• Supervise site installation per drawings, specs, safety, and quality standards.
• Monitor schedules, manpower, procurement, and subcontractors for timely delivery.
• Design and oversee ACMV installations (chilled water, AHUs, FCUs, ducts).
• Support testing, balancing, commissioning, and defect rectification.
• Conduct site inspections and root-cause analysis for value engineering.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and company quality management systems.
