Job summary

Jabil in Singapore is seeking an Electronics Testing Engineer to design, develop, and maintain test procedures and tester software for electronic circuit boards produced on site. Under limited supervision you will support manufacturing with testing and data analysis to improve yield and reliability.

A BS in Electronics or Electrical Engineering and at least two years in healthcare product testing with ISO 17025 or FDA 21 CFR Part 820 exposure are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Electronics or Electrical Engineering from a four-year college preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in healthcare product development and testing with ISO 17025 and/or FDA 21 CFR Part 820 regulatory compliance.
• Ability to review circuit board designs for testability and generate reports.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to work under limited supervision.
• Willingness to work on the manufacturing floor and in an office environment.

Responsibilities

• Review circuit board designs for testability requirements.
• Support manufacturing with failure analysis, tester debugging, reduction of intermittent failures and downtime of test equipment.
• Prepare recommendations for testing and documentation of procedures from design phase through initial production.
• Generate reports and analysis of test data, and documentation.
• Review test equipment designs, data and RMA issues with customers regularly.
• Direct and coordinate engineering activities concerned with development, procurement, installation, and calibration of instruments and test equipment.
• Calibrate instruments and equipment required to test, record, and reduce test data.
• Ensure safety and health rules and company security procedures are followed.
