Job summary

SINGAPORE DAITO ENGINEERING (PTE) LTD is seeking a reliable Mechanical Service Technician to perform maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems, including chiller units, for on-site and vessel work. The role requires physical stamina, attention to safety, and the ability to follow technical instructions from engineers.

Training will be provided; candidates with basic knowledge are welcome and must be willing to work beyond regular hours to meet service requirements across various sites.

Qualifications

• Experience in HVAC/Chiller maintenance is an advantage; training shall be provided.
• Willing to work beyond regular and long hours if required.
• Good physical dexterity and mental stamina.
• Detailed – self-motivated, proactive and eager to expand knowledge and skills; accepts feedback.
• Good communication skills.
• Practical knowledge and experience with common tools/equipment used in general mechanical maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Carry out repair and maintenance tasks as instructed by team leader and engineers at various job sites.
• Handle, operate, and maintain workshop tools and equipment; ready to be mobilized and deployed as required.
• Fill out accurate service records and repair documents as instructed by team leader/engineers.
• Adhere to safety regulations, including lockout/tagout procedures, in plant rooms or outdoor environments.

Mechanical Service Technician (A Chiller Compressor/HVAC Mechanical Service Experience)

Job overview

We are looking for a reliable, self-assured service technician to perform maintenance, repairs and service on a variety of engineering service for our clients. As part of the job role, you should be able to work on both land and sea. You will be required to be physically and mentally strong and highly motivated, self-discipline and should be able to follow simple written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Carry out various repair and maintenance tasks as instructed by the team leader and engineers who you are assign to work at the job sites.
• Responsible and disciplined in handling, operating, and maintaining workshop tools and equipment. To be ready mobilized and deployed at any time, as required..
• Fill out accurate service records and repair documents as instructed by the team leader/engineers.
• Safety Compliance, Adhere strictly to workplace safety regulation including lockout / tagout procedures, while working in plant rooms or outdoor environments.

Requirements
