Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks a Field Service Engineer specialized in chiller systems to perform maintenance, troubleshooting, commissioning, and on-site support for client sites. You will provide safety-conscious service, prepare detailed activity reports, and collaborate with contractors and customers to ensure compliant and reliable chiller operation.

The role requires travel to client sites, availability for standby calls, and a proactive approach to extend equipment lifespan

Qualifications

• Min Dip/ Deg in any relevant Engineering
• HVAC or Chiller exp preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of chiller systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns regarding chiller operations and maintenance.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control system issues and implement effective solutions.
• Educate clients on proper operation and maintenance practices to extend the lifespan of their chiller systems.
• Prepare and submit detailed reports outlining service activities, findings, and recommendations for future improvements.
• Execute commissioning processes for new chiller installations, ensuring systems are installed correctly and functioning as designed.
• Collaborate with MHI agent, customer and contractors to verify system performance and compliance with specifications.
• Foster a collaborative working relationship with contractors, encouraging teamwork and shared problem-solving.
• Work closely with the contractor to share knowledge, improve processes, and enhance overall service delivery.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while performing service tasks to ensure a safe working environment.
• Conduct safety briefings and ensure all parties understand their responsibilities regarding safety.
• May involve working in various environmental conditions, including outdoor settings.
• Field-based role with travel to client sites.
• Available to respond to chiller breakdown calls during assigned standby shifts.
