Job summary

GL CONSULTING PTE LTD/ GL CONSULTANCY & SERVICES/ GL&T CONSULTANCY PTE LTD is seeking a motivated Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Project Coordinator/Draftsperson to support projects from planning to completion, combining coordination with technical drafting.

You will prepare and review M&E drawings using AutoCAD, assist with site visits, liaise with clients and authorities, and ensure compliance with codes and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Higher/Nitec/Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services, or related discipline.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Proficient in AutoCAD; familiarity with Revit MEP or BIM is advantageous.
• Knowledge of M&E systems, local codes, and authority submission processes (BCA, SCDF, PUB, NEA).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage M&E works with clients, contractors, and local authorities for submissions.
• Oversee on-site activities ensuring compliance with standards and safety.

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Project Coordinator/Draftsperson to join our dynamic team. This role involves both project coordination and technical drafting to support our projects from planning to completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage M&E works, liaising with clients, contractors, and local authorities for submissions and approvals.
• Oversee on-site construction activities, ensuring compliance with standards, codes, and safety regulations.
• Prepare, update, and review M&E drawings using AutoCAD (knowledge of Revit MEP/BIM is an advantage)
• Conduct inspections of M&E installations, such as Fire Sprinkler, Fire Suppression, and Fire Alarm Systems.
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, and consultants to ensure design accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain proper drawing records, manage revisions, and prepare submission/as-built documentation.
• Assist with site measurements, verification of works, and other ad hoc project-related tasks.

Requirements

• Diploma/Higher Nitec/Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services, or a related discipline.
• Prior experience in Architecture, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering is preferred.
• Proficient in AutoCAD; familiarity with Revit MEP or other BIM software is advantageous.
• Knowledge of M&E Systems, local codes, and authority submission processes (BCA, SCDF, PUB, NEA).
• 1-3 years of relevant experience preferred
