Solidtek M&E Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced M&E professional to oversee planning, coordination and on-site execution of M&E works in Singapore, ensuring conformance with project specifications and local regulations.
You will review shop drawings, coordinate with consultants, supervise subcontractors, and lead testing, commissioning and handover while maintaining safety, quality and schedule. This role requires strong leadership and communication across multidisciplinary teams.
Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of all Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) works on-site in accordance with project specifications, approved drawings, and local statutory regulations.
Review M&E shop drawings, coordination drawings, and technical submittals. Resolve technical clashes and site coordination issues between architectural, structural, and M&E services.
Supervise sub-contractors and suppliers to ensure work progress aligns with the master construction schedule, quality standards, and budget constraints.
Lead and participate in the testing, commissioning, and handover of all M&E systems, ensuring proper documentation, compliance certificates, and authority approvals (e.g., BCA, SCDF, NEA, PUB).
Enforce strict Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) practices on site and ensure all M&E installations comply with Singapore Codes of Practice and Authority requirements.
Prepare daily/weekly progress reports, attend site coordination meetings with consultants, clients, and sub-contractors, and manage variation orders.
Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or a related discipline.
Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience in M&E coordination and site execution within the Singapore construction industry, preferably on large-scale industrial, infrastructure, or complex building projects.
Strong working knowledge of local building codes, statutory requirements (BCA, SCDF, PUB, NEA), and M&E installation standards (HVAC, plumbing, sanitary, electrical, fire protection systems).
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Proficient in AutoCAD, BIM/Revit (advantageous), and Microsoft Office.
Proactive, meticulous, able to work under pressure, and capable of working independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
