Job summary

Koh Brothers Group of Companies in Singapore is seeking an experienced M&E Supervisor to oversee the mechanical and electrical works on-site, ensuring progress and completion according to schedule while upholding safety and quality standards.

You will coordinate with subcontractors, inspect works with the RTO or project team, review shop drawings, and report on milestones, issues and solutions to keep projects moving smoothly and on time.

Qualifications

• At least Nitec / Higher Nitec in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution.
• Possess good site supervision and management experience.
• Possess good proficiency in writing, speaking and comprehension of English Language.

Responsibilities

• Prepare inspection forms and conduct joint inspection with Resident Technical Officer (RTO) upon completion of works.
• Supervise Sub-contractors' works to ensure compliance with approved shop drawings and details.
• Highlight any non-compliance issue to Sub-contractor and M&E Coordinator.
• Ensure targeted dates are met for works on site.
• Clear any site obstruction that may impede works with Architectural and Structural team.
• Ability to manage and solve complex problems at site.
• Adhere to safety practices in the workplace.

Job description

The M&E Supervisor is responsible for supervising, executing and monitoring of M&E works progress at site in order to ensure M&E works are completed as scheduled.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare inspection forms and conduct joint inspection with Resident Technical Officer (RTO) upon completion of works.
• Supervise Sub-contractors' works in order to ensure compliance according to approved shop drawings and details.
• Highlight any non-compliance issue to Sub-contractor and M&E Coordinator.
• Ensures targeted dates are met for works on site.
• Responsible for clearing any site obstruction that may impede the works on site with the Architectural and Structural team.
• Ability to manage and solve complex problems at site.
• Adherence to safety practices in the work place.

Other Duties

• Perform other duties as assigned by HOD or Management.
• The duties and responsibilities stated may be revised from time to time according to the company’s operational requirements.

Job Requirements

• At least Nitec / Higher Nitec in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution
• At least 3 to 5 years of proven work experience in full suite of Mechanical & Electrical services with a local main contractor
• Possess good site supervision and management experience
• Possess good proficiency in writing, speaking and comprehension of English Language
• Working location: Lorong Halus
