Job summary

Yeng Tong Construction Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced M&E Supervisor to join its project team and oversee Mechanical & Electrical works at site offices and project locations. You will supervise installations, review drawings, and ensure compliance with specifications and standards.

You will coordinate with clients, consultants, and site teams, arrange inspections with the RTO/RE, and troubleshoot electrical issues during installation and commissioning.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years supervising M&E in construction.
• Hands-on in ACMV, CCTV, ELV, fire protection systems and fire alarm.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) works at project sites.
• Ensure M&E installations comply with drawings, specs and approved materials.
• Oversee LV/HV cabling, switchboards, panels, lighting, power and earthing.
• Supervise fire alarm, ELV, communication, ACMV and other M&E systems.
• Coordinate site activities to meet project schedules.
• Arrange and attend inspections with RTO and RE.
• Conduct routine site inspections for quality and compliance.
• Identify, troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues during installation and commissioning.
• Attend site meetings with clients, consultants and contractors.
• Prepare documentation for RTO/RE inspections.

Join Our Team – M&E Supervisor

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced M&E Supervisor to join our project team and oversee Mechanical & Electrical works at our project sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) works at project sites.

• Ensure all M&E installations are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and approved materials.

• Oversee the installation of LV/HV cabling and terminations, switchboards, panels, distribution boards, lighting, power, earthing, lightning protection, and control systems.

• Supervise fire alarm, ELV, communication, ACMV and other M&E systems where applicable.

• Coordinate and supervise site activities to ensure works progress according to project schedules.

• Arrange and attend inspections with the Resident Technical Officer (RTO) and Resident Engineer (RE).

• Conduct routine site inspections to ensure quality workmanship and compliance with relevant codes, standards, and project requirements.

• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve electrical issues during installation and commissioning.

• Attend site meetings, inspections, and coordination sessions with clients, consultants, and contractors.

• Ensure proper preparation and submission of documentation required for RTO/RE inspections.

• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in supervising M&E works, preferably within the construction industry.

• Hands-on experience in ACMV, CCTV, ELV, communication systems, and fire protection systems, including fire alarm and hydrant systems.

• Experience in preparing for RTO inspections and the required documentation.

• Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical drawings, schematics, and single-line diagrams.

• Strong coordination, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Able to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced project environment.

• Good teamwork and coordination skills with clients, consultants, contractors, and site teams.

Working Hours

• Monday to Saturday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
