Job summary

Fuku by Momofuku in Singapore is hiring a site M&E coordinator/engineer to support construction projects. You will coordinate M&E subcontractors, review drawings, monitor progress, and ensure safety and quality on site.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma or Degree in mechanical/electrical/building services engineering, reads engineering drawings, communicates well, and can work independently while collaborating with a project team and main contractor. Experience in A&A projects is a plus.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Building Services or related field.
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and coordinate M&E on-site.
• Strong communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in M&E construction; A&A project experience is a plus.
• Experience with a Main Contractor preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate M&E subcontractors, consultants, suppliers and internal teams for project execution.
• Review M&E drawings, shop drawings, and specs for compliance.
• Monitor site progress, installations, and workmanship to meet schedule and quality.
• Coordinate M&E works with architectural and structural trades to resolve clashes.
• Attend site meetings, conduct inspections, and follow up on outstanding works.
• Assist in material submissions, method statements, testing, and commissioning.
• Ensure M&E works comply with regulations and project specs.
• Provide regular progress updates to the Project Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Attend site meetings, conduct inspections, and follow up on outstanding works and rectifications.
• Assist in material submissions, method statements, testing, commissioning, and project handover.
• Ensure M&E works comply with relevant statutory requirements, safety regulations, and project specifications.
• Provide regular progress updates and report any site-related issues to the Project Manager.

About You

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and coordinate M&E works on-site.
• Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and collaborate effectively with project teams and subcontractors.
• Relevant M&E experience in the construction industry is preferred.
• Experience in Addition & Alteration (A&A) projects will be an added advantage.
• Experience working with a Main Contractor is preferred.
