Job summary

SOONLY FOOD PROCESSING INDUSTRIES PTE LTD in Singapore seeks a Production Supervisor to oversee daily meat processing and manufacturing operations, ensuring production plans, product quality, food safety compliance, and target achievement.

You will supervise staff, monitor performance, minimise wastage, and enforce GMP, hygiene standards and FSSC 22000 requirements in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. Shift work is required.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Business or Engineering is required.
• 2–3 years in a production supervisory role, preferably in meat processing or food manufacturing.
• Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and FSSC 22000 principles.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work in a chilled/cold environment and perform shift work.
• Proficient in basic computer applications and production reporting.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily meat processing and manufacturing activities to meet production plans and targets.
• Coordinate schedules, manpower, equipment usage and workflow for efficiency.
• Monitor output, yield, wastage and downtime; implement corrective actions.
• Ensure materials and products follow customers' specifications and address feedback.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, productivity and cost efficiency.
• Train staff on procedures, hygiene, safety and work standards.
• Maintain production records and support audits.
• Prepare daily production reports and coordinate with QA, Maintenance, Warehouse and Planning.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
