Job summary

Goodcrop Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks a Production Manager to lead daily meat-processing operations, ensure product quality, and meet delivery schedules for hotels, airlines and supermarkets. You will supervise production staff, plan production runs, and drive continuous improvement while upholding safety and hygiene standards.

The role requires strong English and Chinese communication, meticulous organization, and hands-on leadership in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to converse in English and Chinese.
• Experience in meat processing or food manufacturing a plus.
• Proactive, resourceful and detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Production planning: Plan daily/weekly production according to orders and delivery schedules.
• Manage production staff: Supervise production workers, leaders and supervisors; arrange manpower and training.
• Meat processing: Oversee cutting, trimming, deboning, marinating, cooking, sausage/ham production, packing, etc.
• Food safety & hygiene: Ensure HACCP, GMP, SFA requirements and company SOPs are followed.
• Quality control: Check raw materials, production processes and finished products; investigate defects and customer complaints.
• Yield & wastage: Monitor meat yield, wastage, spoilage, production costs and machine downtime.
• Inventory: Coordinate with purchaser and warehouse teams to ensure sufficient raw materials and packaging.
• Equipment: Ensure machinery is properly operated, cleaned, maintained and available for production.
• SOPs & documentation: Develop/update SOPs, production records and work instructions.
• Continuous improvement: Improvised ways to improve productivity, reduce costs and minimize wastage.
• Workplace safety: Ensure workers follow WSH requirements and use appropriate PPE.
