Dow Jones is seeking a People Director MEA and APAC to lead HR strategy for MEA/APAC with a focus on scalable processes, talent development, and employee experience. Hybrid work from Singapore and collaboration with global HR teams will be essential.

The role reports to the VP, People EMEA/APAC based in London, emphasizing data-driven decision making, policy development, and crisis management readiness across diverse regions.

Qualifications

• 12+ years combined human resources & management experience.
• Proven leadership in coaching teams through change and driving results.
• Experience balancing business partnering with employee advocacy.
• Strong data analytics to develop recommendations and actions.
• Commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion in talent practices.

Responsabilités

• Identify, resolve and steer the strategic people plan for MEA and APAC; review processes, talent, training and tools to scale operations.
• Serve as international ambassador with strategic mindset for employee experience in MEA and APAC; voice of regional teams.
• Partner with regional and executive leadership to drive engagement, retention and new tools across the region.
• Align goals with business strategy and act as strategic partner to leadership teams.
• Advocate for DEI within the organization across life cycle, programs and regional focuses.
• Take initiative, exercise judgment, and deliver on commitments with reliability.
• Co-own country/Geo HR governance, crisis management, and business continuity; ensure rapid response readiness.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams; oversee regional legal entity governance and risk mitigation.
• Co-manage regional and global All-Hands and AMA sessions with regional leadership and Communications.
• Communicate openly and courageously; build trusted partnerships with business and teams.
• Manage directly and indirectly a team of HR professionals and coordinate with COEs in the US for MEA/APAC challenges.
