Job summary

KLA in Singapore seeks an experienced Senior Manager to lead purchasing and materials planning across multiple product families. You will manage managers, planners and buyers, drive supplier performance, and ensure BOM integrity and SAP readiness to meet production needs.

In this global, fast-paced environment you will implement cost-saving strategies, coordinate with offshore sites, and develop a high-performing team through coaching and succession planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering/Business/Supply Chain.
• 10+ years in purchasing or supply chain, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
• Proficient in MRP systems; SAP experience is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of supply chain and inventory management systems.
• Ability to drive process improvements in purchasing/planning.
• Analytical with strong interpersonal and communication skills across levels.
• Strong people management, coaching, and succession planning.
• Detail-oriented, able to focus under pressure and meet timelines.
• Team player capable of working with offshore locations in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in low-volume, high-mix equipment manufacturing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams of managers and planners for purchasing and production planning across product families.
• Manage suppliers and subcontracts on cost, schedule and performance for sustaining products.
• Engage in supplier scorecards and drive inventory management initiatives.
• Participate in New Product Launch / project meetings and follow up on action items.
• Own obsolete parts processes to minimize liability and waste.
• Ensure BOM integrity and SAP parameter updates.
• Develop and track cost-saving, gross margin and lead time reduction initiatives.
• Develop and maintain purchasing/planning policies and procedures.
• Ensure materials are ordered and available to meet company requirements.
• Coach and develop a high-performing team; align with company objectives.
