Job summary

KLA is seeking a Production Planning professional in Singapore to coordinate shop scheduling, materials flow, and on-time shipments. You will interface with master schedulers, manufacturing, purchasing, and logistics to ensure timely material availability and efficient production releases.

The role emphasizes strong analytical skills, knowledge of supply chain concepts, and experience with MS Excel, SAP, and BI tools. A Bachelor's degree is required and willingness to learn is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree.
• 1 year related industry experience in production planning and buying.
• Proficient in MS Excel, Macros, Word, Outlook, BI and SAP is desirable.
• Willing to learn.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Knowledge of supply chain and materials flow concepts.
• Experience in low volume high mix and DFT/pull manufacturing environment is a plus.
• Experience in developing and improving existing processes and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the production planning/co-ordination, shop scheduling and dispatching.
• Support and review to ensure timely materials for production & production planning based on customers' orders.
• Coordinate with master scheduler, manufacturing, purchasing and warehouse/logistics for on-time receipt and delivery of materials and finished goods shipments.
• Plan for production releases of work orders and ensure on-time delivery according to customer requirements.
• Monitor material shortages, expediting and material availability to support production plan.
• Drive inventory optimization reducing excess and obsolescence.
