Job summary

ACHIEVE CAREER CONSULTANT PTE LTD is seeking a materials research professional in Singapore to conduct R&D, test materials, and optimise formulations. You will analyse data, prepare technical reports and support projects from early research to validation and commercialisation.

Qualified candidates will have a degree in Chemistry/ Physics/ Materials Science and hands-on experience in laboratory testing, materials characterisation, and reporting.

Qualifications

• Minimum degree in Chemistry, Physics, Materials Science or related disciplines.
• Hands-on experience in materials R&D, laboratory testing, formulation or materials characterisation.
• Strong analytical, experimental and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with laboratory instruments and analytical techniques.
• Good technical communication and documentation skills.
• Experience in materials science, polymer chemistry or formulation development is highly advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Conduct laboratory R&D, materials testing and characterisation.
• Develop and optimise materials, formulations and testing methods.
• Analyse experimental data and prepare technical reports and presentations.
• Troubleshoot and optimise manufacturing processes with cross-functional teams.
• Operate laboratory equipment while maintaining quality, safety and compliance standards.
• Support projects from research and experimentation through validation and commercialisation.
