Job summary

Qualifications

• Diploma/Bachelor/Professional degree in Materials Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering or related field.
• Basic understanding of process development, material evaluation and manufacturing principles.
• Exposure to metals, alloys, ceramics or similar engineering materials.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel with basic knowledge of ISO standards and engineering documentation.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and optimisation of manufacturing processes, equipment and materials for new products and advanced manufacturing applications.
• Assist in new product development activities, including process trials, material evaluation, technical investigations and implementation of new manufacturing concepts.
• Support engineering projects involving cost analysis, cost reduction initiatives, productivity improvement and process optimisation.
• Assist with project coordination and documentation, including BOM, part numbers, process flows and related engineering records through SAP and NCC systems.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders, customers and suppliers on technical requirements, development activities and project-related matters.
