Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a Manufacturing Professional for Materials Planning and Execution in Singapore. The role involves translating demand signals into executable supply plans, coordinating with Sales, AMO, and regional teams, and optimizing inventory and delivery performance.

You will analyze demand, plan schedules, monitor safety stock, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to maximize value across the supply chain.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management or related discipline or equivalent experience (min 2+ years).
• Experience in material planning and scheduling, S&OP, demand forecasting, inventory optimization and management.
• Strong working knowledge of SAP and MRP systems and functionalities.
• Ability to collaborate with and influence cross-functional stakeholders.
• APICS certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Sales and Operations to convert demand plans into executable physical orders and forecast impact.
• Analyze incoming demand to identify order exceptions and gaps with product rationalization strategies.
• Plan and schedule order timelines to meet customer requirements while optimizing inventory.
• Coordinate with Product Line, Sales, and Service Delivery to adjust delivery schedules as needed.
• Conduct material management analyses including aging inventory, PO reviews, in-transit tracking, and safety stock evaluation.
• Develop and implement effective inventory stocking strategies.
• Monitor global inventory and aging inventory and address gaps with regional teams and plants.
• Support and execute continuous improvement initiatives to drive efficiency and value.
