Job summary

Baker Hughes in Singapore is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer Specialist to drive manufacturing improvements with leading-edge technology. You will analyze processes, apply lean methods, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver cost-out and quality gains.

The role emphasizes reading drawings, calibrations, and hands-on manufacturing; CNC programming knowledge is a plus. On-site position with strong safety focus and opportunities to develop innovative solutions in a global energy

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to work in a team with minimal guidance.
• Knowledge of manufacturability, lean methods, quality systems and SPC.
• Hands-on capability with manufacturing and calibration/validation processes.
• Ability to read drawings/specs and manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of CNC programming is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes established tools, methods, and technologies to perform routine analyses, while actively supporting team initiatives that drive technological improvements and operational excellence.
• Works together with people from the business unit.
• Collecting or providing technical information.
• Support for Cost Out, Utilization Savings, Product Value initiatives & Plant critical projects as assigned.
• Continue seamless operational support for Assembly, coating process (tech lube/phosphate etc.), Production & Quality functions on day-to-day basis.
• Be responsible for the safety of own self and others while working on site.
