Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a Manufacturing Professional - Materials Planning and Execution in Singapore to translate demand signals into actionable material plans, coordinate with Sales, AMO, and regional teams, and ensure on-time delivery.

The role requires a bachelor's in supply chain or related field (2+ years), proficiency in SAP and MRP, and the ability to lead teams and influence stakeholders; APICS certification preferred.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in supply chain or a related discipline is required or equivalent experience.
• Experience in material planning and scheduling, S&OP, demand forecasting, and inventory optimization.
• Strong knowledge of SAP and MRP systems and functionalities.
• Ability to collaborate with and influence cross-functional stakeholders.
• Strategic thinking with effective execution skills and urgency.
• Experience leading, managing, and developing teams.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Sales and Operations to convert demand plans into executable orders.
• Analyze demand to identify order exceptions and alignment gaps with product strategies.
• Plan and schedule order timelines, optimizing inventory and minimizing shipping costs.
• Coordinate with Product Line, Sales, and Service Delivery to adjust schedules.
• Conduct material management analyses, including forecasting and safety stock evaluation.
• Develop and implement inventory stocking strategies.
• Monitor global and aging inventory; address gaps with regional teams.
• Collaborate with AMO to ensure accurate capture of spare parts and asset demand.
