Qualifications

• Fluent in Vietnamese and English (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow the Vietnamese Desk and client base.
• Identify potential clients and strategic partnerships in Singapore and Vietnam.
• Build relationships with Vietnamese businesses, entrepreneurs, investors, and professional organizations.
• Promote the firm's legal services to prospective clients and arrange consultations with lawyers.
• Act as a key communication point for Vietnamese-speaking clients and facilitate communication with lawyers.
• Conduct market research to identify business trends involving Singapore and Vietnam.
• Generate new leads through networking, referrals, events, and social media.
• Organise networking events, seminars, and community engagement activities.

Business Development Executive - Vietnamese Desk

A.W. Law LLC is seeking a dynamic and motivated Business Development Executive to support the growth and development of our Vietnamese Desk in Singapore.

The successful candidate will focus on developing relationships with Vietnamese individuals, businesses, entrepreneurs and corporate clients in Singapore and Vietnam, while promoting the firm's legal services and strengthening our presence within the Vietnamese community and business network.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and grow A.W. Law LLC's Vietnamese Desk and Vietnamese client base.
• Identify potential clients, business opportunities and strategic partnerships within the Vietnamese community in Singapore and Vietnam.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with Vietnamese businesses, entrepreneurs, investors, professional organisations and community networks.
• Introduce the firm's legal services to prospective clients and arrange consultations with the appropriate lawyers.
• Act as a key point of communication for Vietnamese-speaking prospective clients and assist in facilitating communication with the firm's lawyers.
• Conduct market research to identify business trends and opportunities involving Singapore and Vietnam.
• Generate new leads through networking, referrals, events, social media and other business development activities.
• Organise and participate in networking events, seminars, webinars and community engagement activities.
• Develop marketing and business development initiatives targeted at the Vietnamese market.
• Assist with Vietnamese-language marketing materials, social media content and client communications where required.
• Maintain proper records of enquiries, leads, referrals and business development activities.
• Prepare regular reports on leads, client conversions, business development activities and potential opportunities.
• Work closely with the firm's lawyers, management and marketing team to develop strategies for growing the Vietnamese Desk.
• Assist in establishing relationships with law firms, businesses and professional service providers in Vietnam for potential cross-border collaborations.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism when handling client and firm information.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Vietnamese and English , both spoken and written, to effectively communicate with Vietnamese-speaking clients and business contacts.
• Experience in business development, sales, marketing, client relations or professional services is preferred.
• Experience within a law firm, professional services firm, corporate environment or Vietnam-Singapore business environment would be an advantage.
• Strong networking, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Confident in approaching prospective clients and developing new business relationships.
• Good understanding of Vietnamese business culture and the Vietnamese market.
• Able to work independently and achieve business development targets.
• Professional, presentable and client-focused.
• Good organisational and follow-up skills.
• Existing business or professional networks within the Vietnamese community would be an advantage.

Role Objective

The primary objective of this position is to build and expand A.W. Law LLC's Vietnamese Desk by generating new business opportunities, developing long-term client relationships and strengthening the firm's connections with the Vietnamese community and businesses in Singapore and Vietnam.
