Job summary
A.W. Law LLC in Singapore is seeking a Legal Associate / Foreign Lawyer to support the Vietnamese Desk and Vietnamese-speaking clients with cross-border matters involving Singapore and Vietnam.
You will work with Singapore-qualified lawyers on corporate, commercial, employment and dispute resolution matters, conduct legal research, draft documents, and contribute to client relationships and business development for the Vietnamese market.
Responsibilities
- Support and develop the firm's Vietnamese Desk and Vietnam-related legal practice.
- Assist Vietnamese-speaking clients with legal matters in Singapore.
- Provide legal support on corporate, commercial, employment, dispute resolution and other matters, depending on experience.
- Assist with Singapore-Vietnam cross-border matters and coordinate with Vietnamese lawyers, businesses and other professional partners where required.
- Conduct legal research and assist in drafting legal documents, correspondence, agreements and other legal materials.
- Communicate with Vietnamese-speaking clients and explain legal processes clearly and professionally.
- Assist with client relationship management and business development initiatives for the Vietnamese market.
- Participate in networking, seminars and other initiatives to develop the firm's presence within the Vietnamese business community in Singapore.

The successful candidate will work with our lawyers in serving Vietnamese-speaking individuals, businesses and corporate clients, as well as clients with cross-border interests involving Singapore and Vietnam.
