Job summary

Qualifications

Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Telecommunications, or related fields.
Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in a technical role, preferably maritime or remote communications.
Knowledge of RF and VSAT technologies with basic spectrum analysis skills.
Familiarity with IP routing, switching, VOIP, and security concepts is a plus.

Responsibilities

Install, assemble, and troubleshoot maritime satellite communication systems (VSAT).
Conduct pre-deployment setup and testing in a controlled workshop setting.
Configure and diagnose connectivity issues related to remote communication equipment.
Deliver technical assistance to clients, including remote troubleshooting and support.
Coordinate and arrange shipment of necessary equipment and tools to designated project locations.
Create and maintain detailed installation documentation, including diagrams, schematics, and procedures.
Participate in ongoing training programs provided by the company.
