The role blends market research, data analysis and commercial support, working with internal stakeholders to provide timely insights for business and client decisions.

You will monitor shipping and market developments, maintain market data, develop analytic models and dashboards, and support ad hoc requests with strong SQL and Excel

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyse shipping and market developments to provide relevant commercial insights.
• Maintain and manage market data, ensuring information is accurate, timely and reliable.
• Conduct research on market trends, movements and developments.
• Develop and maintain analytical models, reports and dashboards.
• Prepare and validate regular reports, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
• Support data extraction and analysis using SQL and other analytical tools.
• Work with internal teams to improve data processes, reporting and analytical capabilities.
• Support ad hoc commercial requests, presentations and market briefings.
• Gather market intelligence from industry news, events and professional networks.
• Provide analytical and commercial support for day-to-day business activities.
• Take on additional projects and analysis as required.
