The Singapore Chamber of Maritime Arbitration (SCMA) is seeking a dynamic and strategic professional to drive its market development initiatives. The role of Assistant Manager / Manager, Market Development and Promotion involves identifying emerging opportunities, engaging key industry stakeholders, and developing programmes to enhance SCMA's visibility, relevance and long-term growth.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business, Marketing, Maritime Studies, Law or International Relations.
• Experience in strategy, business development, stakeholder engagement or related function.
• Experience in shipping, maritime services, international trade or arbitration sectors preferred.
• Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and proposal-writing ability.

Responsabilités

• Develop and implement SCMA's strategic market development plans.
• Identify opportunities to expand SCMA's arbitration services regionally and internationally.
• Conduct market research on maritime, legal and arbitration trends.
• Build strategic partnerships with maritime associations and other bodies.
• Coordinate programs, events and outreach with internal and external teams.
• Provide secretariat support for SCMA committees.
