Job summary

Eurofins Mechem in Singapore seeks an entry-level laboratory analyst to learn and perform routine analyses in line with approved methods and SOPs. You will document results, operate lab equipment, and support calibration activities while promoting a safe, compliant workspace.

This role requires diploma in chemical engineering or chemistry, flexibility for overtime and night shifts, and the ability to work with potentially hazardous materials.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or equivalent.
• Interacts with operational, scientific personnel, and department management.
• Overtime and weekend work as required.
• Work requires PPE and long periods of standing/sitting.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates and promotes the company vision.
• Learns to conduct routine analyses in compliance with SOPs and regulatory guidelines.
• Learns to document work and maintain study documentation and laboratory records.
• Learns to use laboratory equipment and software for assigned tasks.
• Learns to carry out testing and calibration of equipment as needed.
• Performs duties of a Quality Officer for the section.
• Attends and participates in project meetings.
• Plans workload daily and coordinates with team members.
• Maintains clean and safe laboratory work environment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Night shift is required.
