Job summary

Eurofins Mechem Pte. Ltd. in Singapore is seeking a Laboratory Technician to perform microbiological testing on routine and non-routine samples per SOPs, maintain aseptic technique, and ensure GLP/ISO compliance.

You will prepare media and reagents, operate instruments, maintain safety and cleanliness, and support quality systems while working in a dynamic team. Diploma in Biological Science with 1 year lab experience and good English are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in Biological Science, Microbiology, or equivalent.
• At least 1-year relevant experience in laboratory setting.

Responsibilities

• Uphold confidentiality, integrity and safety in laboratory activities.
• Perform microbiological testing on routine and non-routine samples per SOPs and client requirements.
• Prepare culture media, reagents and supplies in line with quality standards.
• Operate and maintain laboratory instruments to ensure accuracy and longevity.
• Ensure compliance with GLP, ISO 17025 and SINGLAS standards.
• Maintain aseptic techniques and biosafety procedures at all times.
• Maintain laboratory cleanliness and inventory; stock supplies to avoid wastage.
• Escalate issues to Senior Microbiologists, Lab Manager or equivalent.
