Job summary

Eurofins Singapore seeks an experienced Laboratory Operations Manager to lead daily lab activities, ensuring timely processing, accurate testing and compliance with SAC-SINGLAS/ISO/IEC 17025 standards. You will supervise personnel, manage equipment, and drive continuous improvement across all sections to support customer needs.

The role requires a degree in Chemistry or related field with 8+ years in a laboratory setting, plus at least 3 years of supervisory experience and strong expertise in

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemistry or related field is required.
• Minimum 8 years of related laboratory experience.
• SAC-SINGLAS signatory knowledge and SAC-SINGLAS/ISO/IEC 17025 familiarity.
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Experience with audits & CAPA management.
• Ability to interact with operational, scientific and management personnel.
• Ability to multitask and manage safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily laboratory operations ensuring timely sample processing and accurate testing.
• Supervise testing activities, equipment scheduling, housekeeping and resource use.
• Review technical data and test reports prior to sign-off by the authorized signatory.
• Coordinate proficiency testing, method verification and quality control activities.
• Lead strategic planning and execution to drive operational excellence.
• Mentor staff, manage performance and plan recruitment to meet future needs.
