Job summary

EUROFINS MECHEM PTE. LTD. is seeking an entry‑level laboratory assistant to support routine analyses in a compliant environment. You will document work, maintain records, and learn to use laboratory equipment and software relevant to assigned tasks.

You will be involved in testing, calibration of equipment, and ensuring a clean, safe lab workspace while coordinating with team members and supervisors on daily workload and project meetings.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or equivalent.
• Interacts with operational personnel, scientific personnel, and department management.
• Entry level are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates and promotes the company vision.
• Learns to conduct routine analyses in compliance with applicable methods, protocols, SOPs, and regulatory agency guidelines.
• Learns how to document work and maintain study documentation and laboratory records.
• Learns how to use laboratory equipment and software appropriate for assigned tasks.
• Learns to carry out testing on all aspects of work and calibration of equipment in the respective section when necessary.
• Learns to highlight abnormalities and discrepancies in the testing, calibration and results.
• Maintains a clean and safe laboratory work environment.
