Job summary

Tap Growth ai is seeking a seasoned HSQE Compliance Coordinator to oversee health, safety, quality and environmental procedures aboard the fleet, ensuring compliance with maritime regulations and company standards.

You will organize HSQE documentation, track inspections and audits (ISM/ISPS/MLC/ISO), prepare KPIs and coordinate with vessel personnel and external service providers to sustain a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Familiar with maritime regulatory frameworks including ISM, ISPS, MLC, PSC and flag-state requirements.
• Good knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 18001 and ISO 45001 standards.
• Strong organisational skills; able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment; proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Good interpersonal skills; proactive and able to work both independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the implementation and administration of HSQE procedures to ensure compliance with maritime regulations and company standards.
• Organise and update HSQE documentation, databases and tracking systems, ensuring accurate recordkeeping and timely resolution of outstanding matters.
• Review vessel compliance records, including work/rest hours, medical documentation, drug and alcohol testing, and port- and flag-state inspection findings.
• Facilitate internal and external audits, including ISM, ISPS, MLC, ISO and TMSA assessments, ensuring proper documentation and follow-up actions.
• Track vessel audits, inspections, certifications and corrective actions to ensure identified deficiencies are addressed within established timelines.
• Document incidents, accidents and non-conformities while assisting investigations, corrective measures and ship-shore emergency preparedness exercises.
• Circulates safety advisories, fleet notifications, regulatory updates and lessons learned to promote continuous HSQE awareness across the fleet.
• Prepare HSQE performance reports, management review materials, key performance indicators (KPIs) and other operational compliance summaries.
• Collaborate with vessel personnel, technical superintendents, classification societies, flag administrations and external service providers on HSQE-related matters.
• Arrange HSQE documentation and regulatory records for newly managed vessels while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives in safety, environmental protection and cybersecurity.
