Job summary

Drew Marine in Singapore seeks a Service Engineer I to provide on-site and remote technical assistance for water and chemical treatment programs aboard ocean-going vessels. You will support energy management, cleaning solutions, welding, refrigeration and sealing services, and install/repair equipment.

You will train crew, assess program adherence, liaise with customers on technical matters, and identify vessel needs while ensuring safety and environmental compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marine, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering or 5–8 years of related experience in a technical role in the Marine or Chemical industry.
• TWIC card or ability to secure one.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for international maritime client interactions.

Responsibilities

• Analyze current application of Drew Marine programs and products onboard vessels.
• Evaluate consistency of Water Treatment and Energy Management programs through on-site sample analysis and observation.
• Collaborate with Chief Engineers and marine officers about full scope and application of Drew Marine product line.
• Provide solutions for increased efficacy of Drew Marine products and identify potential vessel needs.
• Supervise inspections, chemical cleanings, and installation/repair of Drew Marine equipment.
• Provide training to the crew and maintain vessel information files through service reports.
