Job summary

Drew Marine is seeking a Service Engineer I to provide on-site and remote technical assistance for water and chemical treatment programs aboard ocean-going vessels. The role involves ensuring program adherence, energy management, cleaning solutions, welding, refrigeration and sealing services, and repair of equipment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 5–8 years in a technical Marine/Chemical/Mechanical role
• TWIC card eligibility is required/beneficial
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required

Responsibilities

• Analyze current application of Drew Marine programs onboard vessels
• Evaluate Water Treatment and Energy Management program consistency
• Collaborate with Chief Engineers and marine officers on Drew Marine product line
• Provide solutions to increase efficacy of Drew Marine products
• Supervise inspections, cleanings, and installation/repair of equipment
• Provide training to vessel crew
• Maintain vessel information files via service reports
• Visit accounts with Account Executives and Area Manager to understand client needs
• Other tasks as assigned
