Job summary

PALFINGER MARINE seeks a regional sales professional to develop project-sales opportunities across Singapore and APAC. You will build relationships with shipowners, yards, EPC contractors and other stakeholders while managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract award.

You will coordinate technical and commercial negotiations, prepare quotations and tender submissions, and maintain accurate CRM records and forecasts.

Qualifications

• Experience in B2B marine or industrial sales is a plus.
• Ability to manage a full sales cycle from prospecting to contract award.
• Strong stakeholder engagement across shipowners, yards, EPCs and operators.

Responsibilities

• Develop project-sales opportunities across Singapore and APAC through proactive customer engagement and market development.
• Build relationships with shipowners, shipyards, offshore operators, EPC contractors, consultants, distributors and other industry stakeholders.
• Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified opportunities and manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to quotation, negotiation and contract award.
• Promote marine handling solutions as the primary focus, while supporting sales of other PALFINGER MARINE products where relevant.
• Understand customers' technical, operational and commercial requirements and recommend suitable solutions with engineering and product specialists.
• Prepare and manage accurate, competitive and compliant quotations, proposals and tender submissions in accordance with company processes.
• Lead customer discussions, technical clarifications and commercial negotiations within approved authority levels, escalating material risks and non-standard terms where required.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, sales forecasts, opportunity updates and account plans, providing timely visibility of customer activity, commercial risks and market developments.
• Gather and share market intelligence on competitors, customer needs, industry trends and emerging opportunities to support regional sales and market-development strategies.
• Coordinate the formal handover of awarded contracts to Project Management, ensuring scope, commercial conditions, customer commitments, risks and supporting documentation are clearly communicated.
