Job summary

Seaquest Marine Systems Pte Ltd is seeking a motivated Marine Operations Coordinator to join the operations team in Singapore. The role focuses on optimizing procurement-driven efficiency for marine services and coordinating daily operational activities.

The successful candidate will support quotes, PO processing, documentation, supplier liaison, and issue resolution while ensuring safety and QA compliance. Fresh graduates are welcome and training is provided.

Qualifications

• Secondary education minimum; diploma or higher qualification in logistics, supply chain management, marine engineering, or related field is preferred
• 1-3 years of experience in operations coordination, procurement, inventory management, or a related logistics role. Fresh graduates and career switchers are also welcomed
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes within a maritime environment is an advantage
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks effectively
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, and experience with ERP systems
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work as a team
• Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and data management
• Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying operational efficiencies
• Basic understanding of maritime operations and marine equipment is advantageous
• Willingness to learn and adapt

Responsibilities

• Support procurement activities by gathering quotes, comparing supplier offerings, and recommending cost-effective solutions
• Process purchase orders and procurement requests in accordance with company procedures
• Prepare and maintain documentation, reports, and records related to procurement and delivery
• Liaise with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of marine equipment, parts, and materials
• Troubleshoot operational issues and implement corrective actions to ensure smooth workflow
• Maintain communication with internal departments to ensure alignment on operational requirements and timelines
• Assist in compliance with safety standards and company quality assurance procedures
